Dailycieux

Meal delivery service

Dailycieux — Meal delivery service interface built by Lowcodr

Description

Dailycieux is a prepared meal delivery service offering weekly subscription boxes of 6, 8, or more meals, tailored to each customer’s dietary preferences and allergens. After validating the business on a low-code MVP, Dailycieux asked Lowcodr to rebuild it as a custom web platform able to automate the entire weekly cycle — from meal selection to billing and shipping.

A custom subscription platform

The new platform runs on a modern full-code stack — Next.js, Supabase (PostgreSQL), and Stripe — designed around one goal: run the week on autopilot.

• Automated weekly billing engine: composes each subscriber’s box (respecting allergens and preferences), charges the saved card, and generates the invoice — with no manual work.

• Passwordless authentication: one-time email codes replace passwords for a smoother, safer login.

• Subscription self-service: pause weeks, plan absences, change formulas, delivery preferences, and dietary profiles from a single account area.

• Cold-chain shipping: automatic carrier routing with Chronofresh label generation and tracking for fresh meal delivery.

• Complete back office: orders, customer 360° view, weekly menu planning, refunds, and shipping — everything the team needs to operate the service.

Challenges

Rebuilding a live subscription business as a custom platform came with strict constraints — orders, billing, and deliveries could not stop during the transition.

Allergen-aware order automation

Every Monday morning the platform must compose boxes for subscribers who haven’t picked their meals, based on allergen profiles and dietary preferences, then charge and invoice them — reliably and automatically. Getting this engine right was critical to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Cold-chain logistics

Fresh meals ship through Chronofresh, a carrier specialized in perishable goods. The platform generates shipping labels and tracking numbers automatically and routes every order to the right carrier based on the delivery zone.

Zero-interruption migration

Moving live subscribers and their saved payment methods from the legacy platform to Stripe demanded careful data reconciliation to guarantee no customer is ever double-billed during the cutover.

The result is a cost-effective, scalable platform Dailycieux fully owns — able to evolve as fast as the business does.
